Account Executive | Corporate Risks

General Description

Supports the Commercial Practice Leader function by delivering effective market engagement and strong client outcomes across commercial insurance products, with a focus on corporate clients. Acts as a key coordinator between clients, insurers, and internal teams, supporting the end to end quote and placement process. Focuses on execution, coordination, and relationship management, assisting with insurer engagement, negotiations, and the resolution of escalations or complex client matters. Engages with clients as needed to understand risk profiles, coverage requirements, and service expectations, ensuring smooth delivery of placement and servicing activities. 


Works collaboratively across broking, underwriting, technical, and operational teams to support the execution of market and broking strategies, contribute to product and solution development, and provide with market insights, reporting, and business planning support aimed at driving client retention and profitable growth.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

•    Support the end to end quote and placement process for both current portfolio accounts and new business, including preparation of submissions, coordination with insurers, and follow up to ensure timely and competitive outcomes.
•    Act as a support resource for client facing teams, assisting with escalations and complex client requests to ensure effective resolution and strong client satisfaction.
•    Participate in client meetings, renewal discussions, stewardship reviews, and client presentations as needed, providing clear insights and supporting the delivery of a high quality client experience.
•    Contribute to Proposition and Product Development initiatives by supporting the design and delivery of innovative solutions across all commercial insurance products.
•    Help execute the firm’s market and broking strategy by coordinating activities across broking, technical, and operational teams.
•    Work collaboratively with the underwriting management team and other internal stakeholders to support agreed- upon strategies, initiatives, and market plans.
•    Support the collection, organization, and analysis of market and performance data to drive improved client outcomes and identify opportunities for enhancement.
•    Assist in the development and delivery of annual business plans for the PRS Commercial Risks practice, tracking key actions and supporting execution against objectives.
•    Ensure all activities are completed in accordance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and service standards.
•    Support client retention and participate in negotiations to ensure high quality client experience.

Education

Bachelor's Degree

 

Certifications / Licenses

Property & Casualty Insurance Producer or Registered Representative License

Candidates who do not currently hold these licenses must be willing to study for and obtain them.

 

Experience

At least 5 years of related experience in the Property & Casualty insurance industry.

Experience with commercial insurance policies.

Experience working with financial lines insurance policies preferred.

 

Additional Requirements

•    Excellent oral and written communication skills, both in English and Spanish (bilingual). 
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, including Excel, Word, Power Point, Teams and Outlook
•    Extensive knowledge of relevant market conditions for the specific class or portfolio to support effective placement and negotiation strategies.
•    Strong knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements.
•    Strong understanding of underwriting processes and procedures.
•    Strong knowledge of claims management processes and procedures.
•    Strong numeracy, literacy, interpersonal, communication, analytical, and negotiation skills to support client retention and program execution.
•    Strong planning, organizational, and problem solving abilities, with the capacity to prioritize and manage competing deadlines.
•    Capable of managing multiple tasks/projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Work Schedule

On-site
Monday to Friday- 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Flexibility to work non-business hours ,holidays, and weekend when needed.
