General Description
The Sales and Service Officer provide administrative support to the Accounts Executives, Supervisor and Manager to enable the team or department to focus on client servicing and selling.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Provides day-to-day customer service support to Account Executives by preparing information, managing data and producing documents in accordance with departmental service standards, including but not limited to insurance specifications, certificates of insurance, payment letters, vouchers and endorsements.
• Manage and retain existing small accounts for personal and commercial business books and pursue new opportunities for the book.
• Negotiates terms, conditions, coverage limits and pricing with carriers.
• Receive, review and forward invoices, policies, endorsements, and other documents, as necessary.
• Provide client support with all levels of client decision-makers as well as the day-to-day technical client representatives.
• Follow-up to address client needs and resolve any problems or issues.
• Creates general correspondence to carriers and clients.
• Provide administrative support to the Account Executive with tasks such as invoices, budgeting, and general reports.
• Support in the maintenance of policy details in AMS360, and accurate file documentation.
• Assist team members to receive and sort daily correspondence.
• Provide technical support in accordance with company operating procedures, including preparing the expiration list and production reports.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by Supervisor and Manager.
Education
Experience
At least two (2) years of experience in customer service.
1-3 years of relevant experience in the insurance industry is preferred.
Other Qualifications
• Effective oral and written communication skills in Spanish and English.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, including Excel, Word, Power Point, Teams and Outlook
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment while maintaining accuracy and quality standards.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

Hybrid work schedule
Monday to Friday- 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Flexibility to work non-business hours, holidays, and weekend when needed.
