General Description:

The position of Business Systems Liaison of the Individual Credit Systems Administration specializes in finding, analyzing, and developing technology solutions to support business areas. The position is characterized by dynamism and constant interaction with the diverse units of Popular. The candidate must be able to identify areas of opportunity design, develop, and implement technological solutions in response to customer needs and strategies.

Education:

Bachelor's or Master's in Business Administration or Computer Science from an accredited university or college. Minimum of two years of experience in project management-related duties.

General Responsibility:

  • Design, implement, and monitor Retail & Business Solutions Group technology strategies.
  • Anticipate risk situations that may affect the achievement of objectives and take the necessary measures to prevent them.
  • Analyze and develop solutions necessary to support the strategies of the Deposit Products & Personal Loans Div, Credit Card Division, and Retail Lending Operations Division.
  • Establish and maintain good relationships with clients, anticipate their needs, present alternatives, and provide follow-up on agreements reached.
  • Communicate ideas fluently, clearly, accurately, and logically, either verbally, in writing, or in meetings and formal presentations to working groups.
  • Interact with support and service areas such as Compliance, Legal, Audit, Popular Auto, Operations, and other business lines.
  • Assist management in developing business plans and strategies and develop special reports upon request. Knowledge of the credit cycle and state and federal credit regulations.
    • Excellent analytical and logical skills.
    • Ability to interpret and analyze financial information.
    • Handle information from various sources and databases to create reports to assist senior management in decision-making.
    • Ability to deliver and create training, speeches, and presentations.
    • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.

Other Qualifications:

  • Ability to prioritize, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet established deadlines.
    • Proficient oral and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
    • Excellent negotiation and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and minimal supervision.
    • Proficient in MS Office Basic and Power Apps
