General Description:

 

We seek an architect under the Information Technology division to lead the corporation's DevSecOps strategy. In this position, you will lead the Community of Practice in selecting tools and defining standards related to DevSecOps. As a member of the Enterprise Architecture team, you will partner with operations, security, and development teams to bring consistency and best practices.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Other Duties May Be Assigned)

 

  • Lead the DevSecOps Community of Practice to define and evolve the strategy and roadmap for implementing DevSecOps practices and tools.
  • Define the governance and standards for DevSecOps, rationalizing across technology platforms and teams.
  • Advocate technical architecture and build consensus for adopting new technologies across multiple functional teams, ensuring the DevSecOps strategy is implemented at every stage of the SDLC.
  • Support the DevSecOps Product Owner in collaborating with the Enterprise Architecture Center of Excellence (EACoE) and all delivery teams to balance diverse objectives and generate passion for adoption strategically.
  • Present technical concepts & solutions to internal and external audiences and upper management.
  • Develop and promote best practices for DevSecOps.

 

Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.

PREFERRED CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES:

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect
  • IASA Certified IT Architect

 

Knowledge And Skills:

 

  • 5+ years of professional experience in system IT.
  • Hands-on experience implementing DevOps / DevSecOps in the Software Development Lifecycle, including associated deployment methodologies, QA processes, and performance tuning.
  • Experience enabling Infrastructure as Code (IaC) at scale using technologies like Terraform or AWS CDK.
  • Experience standardizing DevSecOps toolchains at enterprise scale. Experience with Jenkins, Nexus and GitLab a plus.
  • Agile Software Development and Management methods and ability to excel within an "Agile" environment.
  • A foundational understanding of current and legacy technologies in application platforms (e.g., cloud platforms, legacy platforms), CI/CD tooling and practices, integration patterns, and automated testing.
  • Hands-on experience with automated deployment of resources, Serverless deployments, Kubernetes clusters.
  • Leads by influencing; ability to inspire and motivate others to provide results.
  • Passion for efficiency; proficient and determined to find ways to automate and streamline processes and practices.
  • Keen interest in new technologies, willingness to research, and self-study to keep skills relevant.
  • Mentors and motivates others to provide results and seek opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Comfortable working in cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals of varying backgrounds, levels, and technical expertise.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Spanish and English) with attention to detail, intuitiveness, assertiveness, proactiveness, and positivity.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
  • Must be self-motivated, team-oriented, and able to operate with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in financial services/banking is a plus.
  • Experience in an agile/scrum environment is a plus.
