General Description

Popular is actively seeking a Senior SAP Business Analyst specializing in SAP Finance reporting. This position requires a strong background in SAP SAC and SAP BW solutions. The successful candidate will implement and manage the functional and technical aspects of analytics, reporting, and forecast modeling, leveraging SAP data and SAP applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain, develop, and enhance SAP SAC and other SAP analytical components, including configuration, applying patches, performance monitoring, testing, and implementing enhancements.
• Provide expert knowledge in various SAP analytics solutions (SAC, S/4HANA Embedded Analytics, Predictive Analytics), ensuring effective and optimized use.
• Lead business sessions to identify and document analytical use cases, understand business and technical requirements, and ensure solutions align with business needs.
• Translate business needs into functional and technical requirement documentation. Collaborate with other developers as necessary to develop complex solutions that require integration with other SAP components or systems.
• Build and manage SAC models, including initial setup, prototyping, configuration, and testing.
• Develop SAC reports using standard and custom charts/visualizations. Design models that integrate non-SAP data sources for a comprehensive analytical framework.
• Conducted thorough unit and integration testing, designed and executed these tests, and provided user training to adopt developed solutions smoothly.

Job Requirements:

• 4-7 years of hands-on experience in SAP analytics technologies (SAP BW, SAP BPC, S/4HANA, SAP SAC, or similar).
• Experience with planning tools and EPM (Enterprise Performance Management) concepts, including planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting on business performance, and consolidating and finalizing financial results.
• Experience in gathering business requirements for enterprise reporting, KPIs, metrics, and dashboards.
• Proficient in data warehousing, encompassing data modeling principles, CDS views, ODATA, space management, and related aspects.
