Responsible for serving as the main point of contact and relationship advocate for a select segment of clients within the high-net-worth client segmentation and delivering the full portfolio of Popular’s products and services to international private banking clients to provide service, guidance, and support. 

In this position, you will:

Develop and manage a portfolio of international private banking clients through a customized suite of products, in addition to traditional banking services consisting if credit, investment, insurance and mortgage products and services, and deposit solutions. Cultivate private banking clients and establish new relationships by calling on prospective clients to uncover prospects needs for products and services and recommend solutions. Execute sales plans and strategies in order to help structure and solidify deals to ensure goals are consistently met. Conduct client needs assessments through continuous proactive client engagement and development of financial plans and profiling. Manage relationships that focus on collaborating with other internal partners such as Mortgage, Investment, and other banking specialists to develop and broaden customized Popular products and services solutions for each proposed client. Identify opportunities to deliver appropriate commercial, retail, insurance, investment and financial planning services. Collaborate with other internal specialist and take ownership for resolving client’s banking needs to ensure an exceptional client experience. Monitor current clients’ banking relationship deposits and loans to maintain asset quality. Monitor client information, products and market trends to identify new needs and opportunities. Maintain knowledge and understanding of appropriate legislation and regulations affecting banking and customer interaction to ensure that all transactions and customer relationships are handled in a manner consistent with laws and regulations. Ensure a high quality and compliant portfolio of client relationship by working within audit, compliance and regulatory guidelines.

To be considered, you will need:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree or master’s from an accredited college in Business Administration, master’s preferred, and/ or five years of experience in banking relationship management, specifically in establishing high net worth client base abroad.
