Popular Association Loan Management

We are currently searching for an Office Clerk/Customer Service Rep.  in our Popular Association Banking department to provide  general office clerical assistance and phone assistance to internal and external customers with the highest level of phone and email customer service.

In this position, you will:


  • Phone duties and email duties will include the following:
    1) Provide information to customers regarding account balances and account histories;
    2) Perform maintenance, placement/removal of holds and process changes on the system for Popular Association Banking accounts and
    3) May assist customers with reconciliation of their accounts.
  • Office duties that may be assigned include the following: 
    1)  Opens and routes incoming mail, answers correspondence and prepares outgoing mail;
    2) Greets and assists visitors:
    3) Writes, types or enters information into computer to prepare correspondence this may include extensive data entry;
    4)  Copies data and compiles records and reports;
    5) Prepares, issues, and sends out receipts, bills, policies, invoices, statements and checks and
    6) Provides overall clerical support to the Popular Association  Department to include but not be limited to, Insurance, Collections, Loan Support, etc.

To be considered, you will need:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. 
  • Minimum of 2 years Banking, Community Association, or Property Management experience, or 3 years in a high volume inbound Customer Service Call Center.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is required.
  • Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to work both independently and as a team member
  • Strong attention to operational policies and procedures combined with strong communication skills.
  • Loan Operations or Loan Servicing experience a huge plus
