Asset Management

This position reports directly to the Assistant Vice President of the Asset Management team and is mainly responsible for the oversight of the administration services for our U. S. real estate portfolio.  This position will also provide analytical support for our U.S operations. Responsibilities are primarily for the U.S. but may include the bank’s portfolio in Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.

In this position, you will:

  • Oversee the day-to-day management of the lease administration services for the U.S. portfolio, ensuring all procedures are enforced
  • Serve as the main contact with the bank’s external lease administration partner
  • Analytical review and confirmation of monthly rent variance reports & ERP entries accordingly
  • Resolution of rent and other landlord & tenant issues including Estoppel requests
  • Prepare CAM accruals as required
  • Prepare property tax accruals and prepaid analysis for approval 
  • Assist in the preparation of rent budgets & forecast
  • Generate reports as required 
  • Oversight of Certificates of Insurance and confirmation of insurance limits 
  • Provide support for Puerto Rico lease & tenant portfolio as needed
  • Assist with annual property insurance valuations
  • Takes initiative and suggests improvements and more efficient processes and procedures to constantly improve the department

To be considered, you will need:

  • 2 years of lease administration experience
  • Real estate financial analysis experience and understanding of financial concepts
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel 
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail
  • Lease administration platform experience preferred
  • Experience in lease administration database, SAP system preferred
  • Bachelor's degree, preferred
