US Cash Management

The Cash Management Sales Officer (CMSO) serves as a consultant with a high level of expertise of Cash Management products and processes, and leverages that expertise to provide clients / prospects with ideas, and deliver customized solutions.  The Cash Management Sales Officer is responsible for the growth of cash management revenue by cultivating a relationship with our deposit acquisition line partners, client consultations, and identifying cross sell opportunities. This position will have an assigned location but it will require time out of the office for client meetings.

In this position, you will:

  • Provide product consultation to commercial customers to identify and propose solutions that meet the client’s needs and enhance their banking experience.
  • Proactively identify cash management prospects from existing customer base for cross sell opportunities.
  • Maintain line-of-site on implementation process to ensure client is satisfied and understands the mechanics of the services.
  • Assist business line partners in understanding cash management product risk and ensuring Bank’s policies are applied throughout the sales cycle.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of competitor’s products and pricing in the market and assist management with developing marketing strategies and setting sales objectives.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals.
  • Ensure proper execution of necessary agreements and implementation documents.
  • Review monthly billing statements to ensure services are being properly charged.
  • Assist in coordinating the resolution of operational problems reported by customers in a timely manner.
  • Receive new product and product enhancement information/training from cash management’s product staff and socialize with business line partners.
  • Maintain and update a pipeline regarding sales calls, closed sales, etc. to enable the generation of monthly activity reports to track sales and revenue growth by market segment.

To be considered, you will need:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience that gives an understanding of work procedures and knowledge that may be required
  • 5+ years of experience in a cash management sales role within niche target markets such as healthcare and non-for-profit
  • 3+ years of experience in the banking industry supporting commercial deposits clients
  • Demonstrated strong sales and relationship management with proven track record to meet or exceed target goals
  • Proven ability to interact with internal and external customers in a professional manner to provide exceptional customer service
  • Strong presentation, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills. (Bilingual English & Spanish: plus+).
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborative skills to build and maintain productive involvement with all staff levels and customers
