Segment Marketing


As our Marketing Analyst, you will be an integral part of the Marketing team, reporting directly to the Manager of Segment Marketing. You will have the opportunity to use customer and campaign data to develop marketing strategies and to assess the effectiveness of campaigns, to connect directly with senior stakeholders across the Bank as you design campaign reports and dashboards, and to help lead the Bank’s deposit and lending pricing process. 

This is a key role and provides the right candidate an opportunity to directly impact the Bank’s pricing and customer engagement strategies, interface with leaders across the Bank, and help foster a data-driven culture with a focus on improving performance and deepening connections with our customers and prospects. 
 

In this position, you will:


Marketing Insights & Analytics
 

  • Use industry and internal data to assess potential impact of business strategies and provide clear articulation of analysis to support decision making
     
  • Partner with Customer Insights and Analytics teams to conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses, translating raw data into insights and actionable recommendations 
     
  • Work with Customer Insights and Analytics teams to determine campaign profitability, Return on Investment (ROI), cost of acquisition, and other KPIs
     
  • Efficiently leverage both qualitative and quantitative resources to understand complex financial situations and present solutions
     
  • Provide analytical support, including analyzing data to prepare portfolio growth, market forecasts, and consumer behavior analysis 


Measure Campaign and Channel Effectiveness
 

  • Help in the monitoring of KPIs for new and ongoing Marketing campaigns and programs
     
  • Working with Marketing and other stakeholders, develop methods for ongoing tracking and reporting of these KPIs, tying Marketing efforts to business outcomes as well as secondary effectiveness measures
     
  • Collaborate with sales teams and other business stakeholders to create Salesforce dashboards and reporting that can be used for sales enablement and sales tracking
     
  • Participate in Sales pipeline meetings and provide actionable analyses to improve marketing results
     
  • Assess segment campaigns for profitability, complete post-mortems and set up campaign goals and tracking based on historical and current data
     

Data Visualization and BI Reporting
 

  • Prepare visually appealing and actionable presentations for senior management
     
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to gather business requirements for BI reporting
     
  • Assist with the creation of dashboards, notification triggers, and report suites
     

Pricing
 

  • Support the management of the deposit rate pricing process from analysis to implementation. Use competitive information and pricing models to identify trends, track deposit goals progress, evaluate the impact of rate changes on cost of funds, and recommend pricing strategies to the deposit rate setting committee
     
  • Interpret and report on product and pricing analytical findings and business insights and makes recommendations
     

To be considered, you will need:

 

  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience as an analyst, data scientist, market researcher or similar role involving analyzing datasets and developing actionable insights from them
     
  • Proven ability to work independently, playing a key role in strategic projects with support and guidance, but not requiring intensive supervision   
     
  • Familiarity with data visualization & BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Web Intelligence preferred) and the ability to create comprehensible visualizations of complex information
     
  • Familiarity with Salesforce reporting a plus
     
  • BA / BS in computer science, statistics, business administration, finance, or mathematics or equivalent in work experience
     
  • A background in leveraging market intelligence with respect to the interest rate environment, competitive pricing and rate sensitivities in optimizing product and pricing management is a plus
