National Mortgage US

This position is responsible for supporting the Mortgage Lending Officer with the mortgage application, processing, and closing process. In addition to supporting the mortgage process, the Mortgage Associate will also be supporting business development & database management efforts.
 

In this position, you will:

  • Assist in working with customers to complete borrower loan applications.
     
  • Review and convey mortgage program options with potential borrowers.
     
  • Review and convey mortgage terms and pricing.
     
  • Act as liaison between borrower and processing, with emphasis on follow up for required/outstanding documents.
     
  • Manage pipeline, including: Docusign or written consent, lock pull-through, lock expiration, approval deadlines, & closing deadlines
     
  • Coordinate and collaborate with MLO & Realtors to plan events including open houses, realtor office presentations, and first time home buyer seminars.
     

To be considered, you will need:

Education / Experience

  • Required: High School Diploma or GED and 1-2 year of related experience
     
  • 2-4 years experience in mortgage processing preferred
     
  • Database management experience preferred
     
  • Mortgage loan origination experience preferred
     
  • NMLS License
     

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent negotiation skills to deal effectively with customers
     
  • Providing timely and professional support to all internal/external customers and vendors
     
  • Working with minimal supervision
     

Moderate travel - primarily to local events and client appointments, with possible travel out of state for training
