Treasury Management II
The Supervisor of the Treasury Management Sales department provides: (1) day to day service support our treasury management clients; (2) sales and implementation support to the Treasury Management Sales Officers; and, (3) management support, training and guidance to the Treasury Management Analyst/Associates staff in the department. The primary goals are to ensure that treasury management services are effectively implemented and delivered; customers are effectively serviced; their inquiries responded to quickly and professionally; and operational situations resolved promptly. This individual is critical to building and maintaining a strong and effective treasury management service team that will be providing consistent quality service and support in accordance with the Bank’s goals of increasing client satisfaction and achieving our department growth/profitability goals.
In this position, you will:
- Guide and manage the department’s other Treasury Management Associates.
- Accompany Treasury Management Sales Officers on visits with clients and prospects to establish rapport, understand clients cash management needs and ensure that the client’s Treasury Management Products and Services are effectively meeting the client’s primary needs.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners including Treasury Management Sales Officers, Product Management, RMs, Branches, Vendor Managers, Vendors and Senior Management team to resolve complex customer needs.
- Research, investigate and resolve customer discrepancies, complaints and payments
- Provide technical training demonstrations via web conferencing and on site as requested.
- Drive implementation calls with Treasury Management Sales team with a focus on the more complex implementations expertise.
- Effectively manage the entire implementation process including managing internal business partners and external client expectations through clear and concise communications.
- Provide timely and accurate status updates to clients and internal business partners. Utilize implementation plans for all large implementations and ongoing communication with customers throughout the implementation process and to schedule telephone/webinar training.
- Review and process documentation for these Treasury Management products and services.
- Review and validate service implementation requests and accurately enter specifications into the appropriate application(s) for fulfillment.
- Properly document specifications for standard, complex, customized implementations and effectively coordinate communications with all required parties to ensure successful, timely completion
- Proactively escalate issues to eliminate/minimize client impact. Communicate all customer service-related issues affecting implementation or maintenance processing to Product Management and Operations
- Bring to the attention of Sales and Product Management any information received from a client while conducting client service business that would indicate a risk or an opportunity to the Bank
- Perform regular visits with the CMSOs to customers to ensure that the client’s Cash Management Products and Services are effectively meeting the client’s primary needs.
- Assist the CMSOs in building effective relationships and trust with clients and/or potential clients by listening to their needs and using that information to understand possible changing situations, needs and desired benefits and educating them about the bank products and services that are most appropriate for their situation.
- Update and maintain all documented implementation forms and training procedures. Proactively identify opportunities to streamline/improve processes where feasible.
To be considered, you will need:
- Knowledge of principals of commercial and consumer credit, commercial banking laws, bank policy, services, products, cost accounting, financial analysis and computer operations.
- Strong interpersonal, selling and negotiating skills with effective sales ability and persuasiveness. Ability to effectively coach employees and develop teamwork with co-workers in other units.
- Effective organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, managing time and resources to ensure work is completed efficiently and within established timeframes.
- Computer literate: fluency in Microsoft Office programs, Excel analysis required.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships both internally and externally Problem-solving, negotiation & follow-up skills.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
Education/Work experience:
Bachelor’s degree preferred
3 years direct Cash management experience
3+ years of People Management experience
Salary Range Information
Our base salary for this position located in New York generally ranges between $75,000.00 and $90,000.00 annually, depending on business need and on your qualifications and experience. Base salary does not include incentive compensation, commission, or any other type of remuneration or benefits.
