General Description

In this position you will be responsible for the analysis, design, programming, testing and implementation of new and existing business applications and production systems support. Candidate must be capable of working at a technical level in all phases of the systems project life-cycle and must be able to apply business knowledge to system development.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Design, develop, implement and / or modify applications in Telebanco Online and Branch Services with the purpose of achieving efficiencies in the processes of the Retail Banking Division groups. Perform analysis and updates of infrastructure to our platforms and other Telebanco systems in coordination with Evertec and other service providers. Integrate information sources to automate administrative tasks and streamline operations. Ensure the proper functioning of our databases and perform the necessary maintenance. Develop solutions, processes and strategies that support the achievement of results, increase business opportunities and reduce operational costs. Manage the inventory and provide maintenance to the equipment of our Division (computers, telephones, etc.). Participate in special projects as required.

Minimum Education

Bachelor's Degree in Informations Systems, Computer Science or Programming.

Experience

Three (3) years of experience managing databases and developing web pages.

Other Qualifications

• Knowledge and practical experience in Enterprise databases such as SQL server, Oracle, Mysql, PostGRE, etc.
• Knowledge and experience developing and programming web pages with scripting languages ​​such as ASP, Javascript, PHP, ASP.Net, etc.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Access and Excel.
• Ability to set priorities and work several tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork.
• Flexibility to adapt to new situations and rapid changes.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and with their own initiative.
• Proactively look for efficiencies and alternatives to improve processes.
