Associate
General Description
Provides analytical, technical, and operational support to the Popular Mezzanine Fund and other fund’s managed by the PCA team. In charge of monitoring portfolio performance, compliance of portfolio companies’ reporting requirements and covenants, among others.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Client Facing Role – quarterly meeting with portfolio companies to discuss performance and financial update
• Follow up monthly with portfolio companies on pending reporting requirements
• In charge of maintaining up to date portfolio tracker with updated performance metrics for all portfolio companies
• Prepare monthly cash analysis for all portfolio companies
• In charge of managing closing process and key contact for operations team
• Must have basic knowledge of underwriting Process and strategies
• Assist in underwriting potential investment opportunities, preparing financial models, and investment committee memos
• Assist in developing models and products to incorporate in underwriting process
• Main contact for operations and back office team
Education
Experience
Two (2) years of work experience related to the financial services industry.
