General Description

Collects, organizes, analyzes, and reports on the ESG aspects of all activities performed by the Corporate Real Estate Division in Puerto Rico, the Mainland US and the Virgin Islands.  The person will be responsible for the creation of new reports and reporting formats, and collaborating on the establishment of reporting structure for all SEC required information related to ESG, and other ESG and environmental initiatives in which the Corporate Real Estate Division participates.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

•    Coordinate regular data collection from the various CRE Units and ensure that most current information is up to date.
•    Document data collection procedures used by the various units to collect their data. 
•    Support creation of Popular’s annual ESG report 
•    Support preparation of regulatory filings regarding ESG 
•    Develop ideas for improving data collection and presentation processes
•    Conduct research on relevant, new, or emerging ESG topics
•    Track industry ESG movement and provide relevant competitive benchmarks
•    Collaborate in the promotion of ESG related initiatives within the Corporate Real Estate Division and within all other units, subsidiaries, and affiliates
•    Contribute to the development, and implementation of recycling programs and document the relevant, associated processes
•    Prepare status updates, white papers and power point presentations regarding efforts, status and findings related to all ESG initiatives
•    Strong technology skills, able to understand and learn how to use new software tools
•    Highly competent in Excel, Power Point, Word and Power BI, and other reporting and analysis tools

This Job has no supervisory responsibilities but in special circumstances may lead the work of others.

Education

Bachelor's Degree

Experience

Ideally 3 years of experience performing tasks described in the job description.  Strong command of ESG topics preferred.

Additional Information

•    Knowledge of Excel, Power BI, Power Point, Word, SharePoint, Teams, and other Office 365 tools
•    Excellent written and verbal skills in Spanish and English
