Business Analyst

1.    Form a liaison with Management Team to (a) understand the structure, policies, and operations of the organization and (b) recommend solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals.
2.    Analyze, transform, and resolve business problems and opportunities with critical thinking and technological tools.
3.    Become the expert of the financial results and the operational mechanism of the business.
4.    Uphold the highest quality standards within the deadline.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

And this is achieved by:

I.    Business Activities
a.    Co-create management meeting strategy and formal presentations, as well as a series of business briefs and other financial communications.
b.    Co-create the Annual Executive Summary in collaboration with management.
c.    Champion the collection, analysis and editing of information for the monthly achievement report.
d.    Lead the preparation of line of businesses profitability analysis with the Accounting Department. 
e.    Prepare ad hoc financial analysis reports and presentations such as: forecast analysis, year over year sales comparisons, producer profitability analysis, product sales analysis, client analysis, growth opportunities analysis, benchmarking analysis.
f.    Actively and professionally participate in weekly management meetings and provide status on pending projects, reports, and presentations.
g.    Prepare summary of the week by noon each Friday.
h.    Periodically update and run Insurance Business profitability model; analyze results and discuss findings and recommendations with management.



Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Engineering, Information Systems or higher degree such as MBA or JD.


Related experience in business analysis or project coordination; no less than 2 years of experience required. A JD or MBA degree will comply with the experience requirement.
