General Description

deShow’s Management Information Systems (MIS) unit manages and maintains information systems to support internal business processes and operations integrating, effectively and efficiently, all business units.  
This position will support strategic and functional information systems implementation projects and manage technological innovation initiatives. The successful applicant, combining analytical skills, problem-solving abilities and project management skills, will assess deShows’ business objectives and related information systems to leverage its capabilities. 
 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Gather, review and analyze the business requirements and needs using proven tools, methods and metrics to help identify business problems and propose technical and functional solutions. Work with cross-functional teams (including Sales Administration, Business Support, Property Clearance, Property Preservation, Closing, Brand and Communications, MIS) to obtain, analyze, communicate and validate requirements and functional specifications for changes to business processes and applications to ensure optimal operational performance. Coordinate and facilitate analysis sessions to identify and develop different business solution alternatives, gather technical and functional requirements, manage changes and complete processes documentation in areas such as sales, marketing, operations workflow and customer relationship, among others. Support IT team completing systems administration activities such as databases maintenance and updates, reports design and data integration. Prepare and present business solutions, trends and recommendations to stakeholders that enable the organization to achieve its goals. 

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This Job has no supervisory responsibilities but in special circumstances may lead the work of others.

Education

Bachelor's or above in Engineering, Business, Computer Science, Management, or related field.

Experience

Minimum of two years of experience in systems integrations, business analysis, strategy, and information technologies consulting, and/or project management. Special projects, internships and Coops experiences during college may be considered.

•    Ability to identify problems, analyze their causes and resolve them in a timely and successful manner to reduce time and facilitate work processes
•    Ability to define and execute user testing and training plans to support IT systems & tools implementation projects
•    Advanced domain of MS Excel spreadsheets, Word, PowerPoint 
•    Complex concepts translation into implications for the business via excellent oral and written communication skills, both in Spanish and English
•    Strong presentation skills, including the creation and use of tables, charts, and graphics to summarize results
•    Dexterity to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously
•    Excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork
•    Shows attention to detail and process oriented
•    Work independently with minimal supervision
