General Description

Responsible to maximize the Learning Management System usage and provide solutions to support the business needs as part of L&D Governance.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Leads the administration and ongoing usage of the LMS and related learning platforms. Includes content, role permissions, users, and internal system notifications.  Create, manage, and maintain courses, curriculums, program, classes, assignments profiles, groups, course metadata, and all other LMS data for corporate training. 
  • Create or modify system notifications in HTML.  
  • Collaborate with Business Units to create and manage system-level learning assignments profiles.  
  • Partners with the technology department and leads the review, testing and implementation of LMS updates and enhancements from the learning and learner experience perspective.  Stays abreast of new and emerging feature releases and corporate changes to determine how those changes impact the LMS and related processes, keeping impacted stakeholders informed.  
  • Lead point-of-content with IT to manage roles, securities, and permissions associated with LMS access, and makes recommendations that will improve user experience while maintaining system security.  
  • Identify and provide solutions to publish contents, to support the learning process.  
  • Identify and address company needs by configuring and implementing SuccessFactors Learning modules.  
  • Train users on basic system functionalities. Creates and updates resources to train and support learners on how to use our LMS platform.  
  • Provide recommendations on future improvements to content management, workflow processes, and user adoption. Develop ideas for automation of processes to reduce manual tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (cont.)

  • Upload, deploy and test online courses and related content and assure they are working properly.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve problems with course design, LMS configuration and infrastructure.
  • Proactively identifies deviation or improvements to assignment profiles, to fix the problem on a timely manner.
  • Design custom reports to facilitate the data analysis and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with TMD to ensure system accessibility and technical standards are met.

Minimum Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology. 


Three (3) years of experience as a Learning Management System administrator or similar position required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA's)

  • Experience working with the LMS SuccessFactors.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Outlook, Word, SharePoint, HMTL and web-based applications.
  • Project Management: Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision. Capacity to achieve results according to plan ensuring the expected quality.
  • Instructional design: Knowledge in developing content using practical adult learning methodologies, is desirable.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking and the ability to bring order to unstructured problems.
  • Excellent customer service, task coordination and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-directed with demonstrated high levels of productivity and structure.
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork/partnering skills with both internal and external colleagues.
  • Willing to travel to different regional training centers located on the metro and other areas, if required. 
  • Excellent ability to write and design learning presentations.
  • Excellent oral and written communications in both Spanish and English.
  • Computer and technological skills: Authoring tools (Captivate, Articulate 360, Vyond) knowledge is a plus, among others. 

Certifications / Licenses

Certification in SAP SuccessFactors Learning Module, Employee Central or other industry recognized LMS or related is required.
