General Description

The P2P Ariba Solution Owner Lead is responsible for the management and development of the S2P technology suite (Ariba) as it relates to the execution of procurement and purchasing transactions, including its integration into the overall enterprise technology environment. This is a functional role with a strategic focus which also requires technical capability.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage P2P Module activities and resolve any functional or operational issues

  • Supports help desk strategy for Ariba P2P matters on behalf of business users; and leads the troubleshooting efforts to resolve any module malfunction of a technical nature

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of a procurement strategy with a focus on technology solution development and execution

  • Develop, update P2P key metrics, and provide analysis of performance

  • Develop. maintain and update periodic reports with key statistics and metrics related to the P2P operation

  • Works with other members of the Procurement Excellence team to ensure that Ariba documentation standards are met, provide input into training development, and provide Ariba functional knowledge to support reporting

  • Set and manage the governance process of requested functional changes to the P2P process, including prioritization of requests

  • Identify and lead execution of improvements to P2P system functionality to continue to meet evolving business needs

  • Lead the evaluation and implementation of innovations and P2P system enhancements driven by Ariba

  • Work closely with the technology team to execute upgrades, integration changes and associated system testing

  •  During the P2P Ariba module implementation or any future major upgrades, this role leads work stream activities in combination with Ariba and our colleagues from the Technology Division; and manages and/or supports several activities including: developing requirements, design, build, test and training.

  • After project implementation, supports the P2P Ariba module including completion of enhancement requests and changes in workflow configuration.



Bachelor’s Degree with concentration in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science or Technology is preferred.


Experience working with enterprise resource management, planning systems or workflow or process configurations is a strong plus. At least 3-5 years of professional experience.
