General Description

Performs daily monetary transactions for Corporate/ABL, Construction, Multifamily and New Market Tax Credit Loans Portfolio.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

•    Receive client’s requests to prepare the transactions for validation, approval and posting.
•    Use properly Excel formulas to complete the transactions.
•    Prepare Corporate/ABL, Construction and Multifamily transactions, including but not limited to advances, payments, Accounts DR/CR, transfers between accounts, wire transfers, interest capitalization, and loan closings.
•    Prepare monetary transactions for syndicated loans, in addition to billings and notices to client and other lenders.
•    Analyze loan transaction histories to prepare modifications requests related to interest rates, billings and any other loan terms, if necessary.
•    Prepare G/L accounting entries, billings and transactions for New Market Tax Credit Loans.
•    Coordinate to process the transactions within the established period with minimum errors.
•    Follow Up and confirm transactions are approved and posted on time.
•    Prepare the daily accounting (G/L Entries) and create it in S4 application for posting.
•    Verify next day that the transactions were posted correctly.
•    Prepare the request for payment of invoices to Accounts Payable Unit.
•    File the completed transactions in digital and/or hard copy form.
•    Complete the transactions on time and with minimum error.
•    Offer excellent service to internal and external clients.

Education

Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
Note: Related experience refers to the professional background related to the responsibilities and skills required for the position

Experience

At least two years of related experience.

•    Basic accounting knowledge, including accounting entries
•    Strong written and verbal communication skills in Spanish (advanced) and English (basic)
•    Proficiency in MS Office Excel and Word
•    Excellent time management and coordination skills
•    Teamwork-oriented  
•    Attention to detail
•    Results-driven

Work Schedule

Hybrid work schedule
Monday to Friday- 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Availability to work extended hours, holidays and weekends.
