General Description

  • Create and update operational reports that show operational statistics and data that can help detect trends and track capacity levels in the Fraud Operations Department. Build business intelligence tools and dashboards that help with strategies, productivity, reengineering, and initiatives that aim to improve processes and comply with regulatory deadlines in key processes. Lead or support strategic initiatives as needed that meet business requirements and ensure long-term solutions. Perform daily tasks that generate reports, reconciliations, and other necessary tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develops reports, automates them, and changes existing moderate-complexity metrics/dashboards.
  • Create, adjust, and share regular and custom reports/dashboards to enhance the comprehension of the business and/or unit. Use descriptive analytics to examine the information and find trends, patterns, gaps, and insights.
  • Works with management and stakeholders on the creation, testing, execution, and assessment of business process changes to enhance business results.
  • Document and follow business standards for team projects. Do regular checks to make sure that rules are followed, document and report any deviations, provide solutions, and lead the execution of plans that can be acted upon.
  • Create presentations and communicate results and suggestions. Handle data sources, examine information, and provide reports to the team.
  • Answers data-related questions by using data and business knowledge and getting information from various sources.
  • Perform system tests and validations following changes in implementation. Work with the various fraud business areas to conduct testing and provide supporting documentation.
  • Explain complex insights to stakeholders, both orally and in writing.
  • Oversee Fraud Operations Power Apps and SharePoint and assist the team with the changes or access requests.Perform daily activities such as downloading and posting reports, reconciling data, emailing reports or other output files.
  • Other business-related tasks as required.

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This Job has no supervisory responsibilities but in special circumstances may lead the work of others.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a major in Information Systems, Finance; Industrial Engineering or related field.

Experience

  • At least two (2) years of experience in data mining, data analysis, process improvement, project management and/or analytical tasks and providing final reports.
  • Courses in Lean/Six Sigma philosophy, Agile or related experience preferred.

Certifications / Licenses (nice to have)

Business Analyst Certification
PMP
Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)

Other Qualifications

  • Proficient in data management tools such as SAS, Cognos, Power Pivot, among others.
  • Intermediate (Advanced is a plus) in the use of Office 365 Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Power BI.
  • Systematic and meticulous with details to effectively process large amounts of data into meaningful information.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, prioritize work, manage time, and respond effectively to a rapidly changing environment.
  • Strong technical aptitude, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to effectively coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously, managing time and resources to ensure work is completed efficiently and within established time limits.
  • Fast learner, good initiative, and self-taught.
  • Process development and implementation experience.
  • Ability to define, aggregate and analyze business results for management decision making.
  • Capability to collaborate in effective teams.
  • Ability to reason analytically and logically to develop adequate solutions or action plans.
  • Focused on innovation, open-minded and receptive to new ideas.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English.

Work Schedule

  • Monday-Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm / 9:00am - 6:00pm. Hybrid model available. Must be available to work extended hours.
