General Description:
We are looking for an Architect under the Information Technology division to lead the DevSecOps strategy in the corporation. In this position you will lead a cross-team Community of Practice driving the adoption of modern Software Development Life Cycle practices, and selection and standardization of DevSecOps tools to accelerate delivery. As a member of the Enterprise Architecture team, you will partner with operations, security, and development teams to bring consistency and efficiencies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Other Duties May Be Assigned)
- Lead the DevSecOps Community of Practice to define and evolve the strategy and roadmap for implementing DevSecOps practices and tools.
- Develop and promote best practices for SDLC and DevSecOps across technologies and teams.
- Advocate development best practices and technical architecture, driving adoption of new technologies across multiple functional teams, ensuring the DevSecOps strategy is implemented at every stage of the SDLC.
- Present technical concepts & solutions to internal and external audiences, as well as upper management.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
PREFERRED CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES:
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect
- IASA Certified IT Architect
Knowledge And Skills:
- 10+ years of professional experience in system IT.
- Experience working with public cloud platforms.
- Broad experience with DevOps adoption and the Software Development Life Cycle in an Agile environment.
- Foundational understanding of both current and legacy technologies.
- Experience accelerating adoption of new practices and technologies.
- Leads by influencing; ability to inspire and motivate others to provide results.
- Passion for efficiency; proficient and determined to find ways to automate and streamline processes and practices.
- Keen interest in new technologies, willingness to research and self-study to keep skills relevant.
- Mentors and motivates other to provide results, seeks opportunities for continuous improvement. Comfortable working in cross-functional teams.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with individuals of varying backgrounds, levels, and technical expertise.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Spanish and English) with attention to detail, intuitive, assertive, proactive, and positive.
- Experience in financial services/banking a plus.
