General Description
Visits customers with delinquent accounts and attempts to secure payment.
Region Locations
This position is considered a floater, covering routes in the central, metro, and eastern areas of Puerto Rico. It also provides support to our call center located in Cupey, if necessary.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Contacts customers in person to encourage and secure payment of delinquent accounts. Provides orientation to customer concerning payment alternatives, debt restructuring and obtains payment promise. Follows-up on payment promises. Receives payments and posts amount paid to customer account. Records information about financial status of customer and status of collection efforts. Must be able to provide call center support as required.
Education
24 credits approved from a University or Accredited Institution or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience
At least one year of related experience in external collections and Customer Service.
Certifications / Licenses

• Positive attitude
• Ability to handle claims during visits or over the phone
• Willing to work under pressure
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Outlook)
Work Schedule
Monday to Friday from 9:00AM to 6:00PM.
