IT Service Specialist
Job Description
Responsible for the coordination efforts within IT units and MSPs for the remediation of vulnerabilities identified on server, non-server, and application assets within the organization. They will perform tasks such as progress reports, scheduling remediation tasks, and monitor remediation SLA compliance.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate efforts among IT, line of business, and MSP to plan and execute the remediation of vulnerabilities identified by the organization.
- Communicate progress via weekly and monthly progress reports
- Monitor the compliance of the established SLAs for remediation
- Collaborate with Cyber Security Division in the review and analysis of progress reports
- Engage third party vendors when needed
- Identify recurring issues and opportunities to improve remediation workflows, processes and tooling.
- Ensure remediations evidence is documented.
- Maintain dashboards and reporting on remediation status, aging risks, and trends.
- Support risk assessments evaluating impact to operations, assets, and reputation.
Education: BA Computer Science, Information Technology (Preferred)
Experience: 5 years in Information Technology or Cyber related.
