IT Vendor Management Analyst

 

General Description

Responsible for overseeing IT service providers to ensure compliance with Third Party Risk Management policy and procedures. This includes conducting risk assessments review, managing due diligence documentation, and performing vendor performance analysis. The role also supports the documentation of operational processes, monthly reporting metrics, and the coordination of training sessions related to IT contracting. Acts as a key point of coordination between IT, Risk, and business stakeholders to ensure effective vendor oversight.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

•            Liaise with key business, technology stakeholders and risk subject matter experts to ensure vendor Due Diligence documentation remains accurate, complete and up to date.

•            Proactively lead communications to assure oversight and compliance requirements are met for the assigned portfolio of IT service providers, including coordination of on-site visits when required.

•            Participate in vendor evaluation forums and contribute to the ongoing monitoring of vendor performance.

 

Minimum Education

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

 

Experience

•            2+ years of vendor or other third party-related risk management experience, preferably within the financial services industry.

•            Experience preparing PowerPoint presentations for management discussions and  developing dashboards and analytical reports; Power BI experience preferred

 

Other Qualifications

•            Solid knowledge of Risk Management concepts and methodologies

•            Understanding of Vendor Performance Management principles

•            Ability to build effective relationships and act as a trusted advisor

•            Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Word. Power BI experience is highly desirable

•            Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to collect, analyze, and consolidate data accurately and with attention to detail

•            Knowledge of Information Technology concepts. Experience working in a technology-focused environment is highly desirable

•            Strong written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English
