General Description

Leads and executes process optimization projects by influencing cross-functional teams to deliver tangible business results through the application of methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, Design Thinking, Project Management and other process improvements techniques and tools, and ascertain sustainability of process improvement. Identifies and redesigns processes that are critical to business lines. Leads the execution of process improvements projects throughout the organization to promote a culture focused on continuous processes optimization that simplifies operations across the Corporation and impact our internal and external customers. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Understands current business needs and develop strategies to provide solutions focused on achieving the established objectives.  Analyzes data using quantitative methods to facilitate analysis and identification of process improvements solutions. Provides support to business units in the sustainability of completed process improvements projects and to promote a continuous improvement mindset. Identifies how processes can be mapped and optimized using more effective technology, partnering with technology teams as well as redesigning processes using process improvement methodologies. Ensure that all process documentation is completed and updated to ascertain process optimization sustainability.  Leads efficiency events at a strategic level using process improvement tools such as Design Thinking, Kaizen events or 5S. Develops Lean and Six Sigma capabilities through coaching and mentoring. Prepares trainings and corporate presentations.  Develops execution plan to improve flow of products, people and information. Follows and observes all applicable regulatory requirements such as Risk, Compliance and Audit or any applicable policy.

Minimum Education

Bachelor's Degree from a four year college/university in Industrial Engineer or  Business Administration, or other related fields (Statistics, Operations Management and Engineer).  Preferable: Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Business or equivalent. Professional certifications such as: EIT Engineer License, PE Engineer License, AE Engineer License, CPA, PMP.

Experience & Other Qualifications

At least three years of experience in Six Sigma, Lean methodologies, and Project Management. Proficient in the use of MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio and Outlook.
