General Description

SAP Business Analyst with experience in Human Capital Management (HCM) and/or SuccessFactors (SFSF). Main duties will be working with the client to understand business requirements and determine the best technology driven solution and map them into configuration. It also includes responsibilities to create design documents for the ABAP developers, test solutions, create cutover plans, work with security roles (SAP and SFSF), monitor performance and other tasks related to a business analysis. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Performs configuration on SAP HCM and SAP SuccessFactors to support business enhancements and existing functionalities.
  • Function as team expert for all configuration issues (both support and projects) within their areas (modules) of expertise (SAP HCM and SFSF Modules).
  • Collaborates with the ABAP developers, consultants, and the quality assurance team, to develop and test significant new functionality enhancements. 
  • Ensure production system efficiency and alignment with existent and new business process through patches installation and upgrades. Performs integration testing as necessary to assure that new functionality or enhancements do not adversely affect existing functionality.
  • Ensures knowledge transfer to expert users to increase their understanding and utilization of the SAP HCM and SFSF systems applications.
  • Apply Agile principles and its ceremonies during each phase of implementation.
  • Ensures prompt responses to customer inquiries via our internal ticketing tool JIRA. Create and maintain documentation as necessary for compliance purposes.
  • Must be able to work collaboratively with system users and other technical colleagues. Individuals work across all functional areas and use a strong client service orientation to ensure that all requests and problems are resolved following Popular service standards and technology policies. Must be able to share their expertise, provide individual training and support to users. SAP BA works together with other IT teams to enhance services available to all clients.

Education

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Business Administration, Computer Science, or Industrial Engineering from four-year college or university.

Experience

  • Three (3) to five (5) years of experience on business process analysis, configuration of SAP HCM and SuccessFactors modules.
  • Knowledge of one or more of the following software’s: Word Processing, Presentations, Spreadsheet, Internet, Internal Business software, SAP HCM, SuccessFactors Talent Management, Power BI, other related software.
  • Knowledge of project coordination, identification of business needs, work plan, budget control, time management, resource allocation, team management and status reports.  Must demonstrate leadership, logic, and reasoning skills.
