Senior Systems Analyst

General Description

The Senior Systems Analyst is responsible for leading strategic projects, defining platform strategy, and managing the Hyland OnBase Cloud environment to support enterprise-wide digital content initiatives. This role ensures optimal application performance, stability, and security while driving innovation and alignment with organizational goals. The analyst will collaborate with business and technology teams to deliver scalable solutions that optimize critical processes and enhance digital transformation.

Responsibilities

  • Identify business requirements and lead functional and process design, including scenario design and flow mapping.
  • Develop automation architecture and solution proposals focused on scalability and extensibility.
  • Administer OnBase Cloud application, ensuring optimal performance, stability, and security.
  • Monitor system health, validate usability, and ensure operational tasks run error-free.
  • Define and execute OnBase Cloud strategy and roadmap aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Lead strategic projects for digital content management and process automation in a cloud environment.
  • Coordinate application changes, upgrades, and enhancements within the OnBase Cloud platform.
  • Plan and execute testing, usability checks, and certification for releases and changes.
  • Manage incidents, ensuring timely reporting and documentation in compliance with standards.
  • Perform root cause analysis and recommend preventive controls for recurring issues.
  • Communicate effectively with impacted business units and operational teams regarding incidents.
  • Design and configure workflows, Unity Forms, and business rules to automate processes in OnBase Cloud.
  • Ensure integration with other applications impacting OnBase Cloud performance.
  • Collaborate in annual certifications for assigned applications.
  • Maintain adherence to security policies, regulatory requirements, and vendor recommendations.
  • Keep documentation updated for all application procedures, configurations, and processes.
  • Create training materials and provide guidance to internal teams on OnBase Cloud usage.
  • Implement integrations with internal/external systems using APIs and web services.
  • Review business processes and recommend improvements leveraging OnBase Cloud capabilities.
  • Serve as liaison between IT, business units, and vendors for OnBase Cloud-related initiatives.
  • Provide technical expertise and consultative support for strategic decisions involving digital content management.
  • Offer training sessions for internal and external stakeholders on OnBase functionalities.
  • Collaborate with Area Manager, Project Manager, and Developers to create high-level project plans.
  • Use Agile methodologies to deliver fast results.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and report status, issues, and risks regularly.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in administration and development on Hyland OnBase, preferably in cloud environments.
  • Certifications: Hyland OnBase System Administrator, Workflow Designer, OnBase Certified Workflow Administrator (preferred).
  • Deep understanding of OnBase modules and architecture.
  • Experience in Workflow design & management, WorkView applications, Unity Forms/E-Forms/WorkView Forms.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience integrating applications via APIs (REST/SOAP).
  • Knowledge of process efficiency tools and methodologies such as design thinking, lean, agile, six sigma, customer journey mapping, and analytics.
  • Proficiency in SQL, scripting, and data analysis.

  2. Must have received an Overall Rating of Effective or higher in their most recent performance evaluation. Employees with an Overall Rating of Partially Met or Not Met will not be considered.
