System Engineer
General Description
As a Systems Engineer you will be working in a challenging environment, supporting real estate projects IT design and implementation, supporting the business in day-to-day operations, as well as facilitating business changes.
The primary responsibility of this position is to support new areas IT designs and implementation oversight.
Should be also available for certification environments for applications, develop, oversight, continuously improve, and support internal development teams.
You will be providing expert infrastructure oversight, ensuring successful delivery and performance of IT services for our internal clients and the fulfilment of our obligations and Service Levels Targets. This role will be a major stakeholder in the successful growth of our service offering.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Internal Movements and On-site support
- Coordinate the support for Real Estate projects related to technology for buildings and branches.
- Coordinate with the Infrastructure team all related to network and cabling
- Manage Audiovisual design and implementation.
- Manage proposals approvals, project budget and cost allocations.
- Set and manage stakeholder expectations, both internally and externally
- Responsible for final implementation oversight
Infrastructure

- Research and identify the most appropriate options for the delivery infrastructure.
- Identify, deploy, and maintain appropriate connectivity options
- Contribute to the overall quality of service delivered to internal users and clients.
- Support the Application Support team in dealing with critical incidents in the Managed Service environment
- Work closely with Cyber Security for the evaluation and implementation of solutions, changes on the infrastructure
- Experience with Tomcat, Linux, Windows servers, Jenkins
- Previous experience with development pipelines
- Design
- Contribute to the roadmap for the development and evolution of the infrastructure that is appropriate for the current needs as well as scalable for the future needs of the business
- Continuous improvement
- Contribute toward design improvements that allow for more efficient support of the environment, applications, and clients
- Actively contribute to increasing the availability of our services by providing iterative improvements to existing infrastructure solutions
Minimum Education
Bachelor’s or master’s in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field.
Experience
2+ years of experience working with IT designs, computer architecture, networking, virtualization, storage, and operating system concepts. Commercial Audio-visual knowledge and equipment design is preferred.
