Job Type

Full Time Opportunity
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (weekend availability if necessary)
This job requires you to have a valid drivers license.

Metro Area

Routes can include the following municipalities: Dorado, Toa Baja, Bayamón, Cataño, Guaynabo, San Juan, Caguas Trujillo Alto & Carolina

General Description

Visits customers with delinquent accounts and attempts to secure payment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Contacts customers in person to encourage and secure payment of delinquent accounts.
Provides orientation to the customer concerning payment alternatives and debt restructuring and obtains a payment promise.
Follows-up on payment promises.
Receives payments and posts amount paid to customer account.
Records information about financial status of customers and status of collection efforts.
Must be able to provide call center support as required.

Experience

At least one year of related experience in external collections and customer service.

Education

+24 Bachelor's degree credits approved

Certifications / Licenses

Driver's License is required

Other Qualifications

Positive attitude
Ability to handle claims during visits or over the phone
Willing to work under pressure
Excellent interpersonal skills
Knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Outlook
