Job Type

  • Full Time Opportunity
  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (weekend availability if necessary)
  • This job requires you to have a valid drivers license.

Metro Area

  • Routes can include the following municipalities: Dorado, Toa Baja, Bayamón, Cataño, Guaynabo, San Juan, Caguas Trujillo Alto & Carolina

General Description

Visits customers with delinquent accounts and attempts to secure payment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Contacts customers in person to encourage and secure payment of delinquent accounts.
  • Provides orientation to the customer concerning payment alternatives and debt restructuring and obtains a payment promise. 
  • Follows-up on payment promises.
  • Receives payments and posts amount paid to customer account. 
  • Records information about financial status of customers and status of collection efforts. 
  • Must be able to provide call center support as required.

Experience

At least one year of related experience in external collections and customer service.

Education

+24 Bachelor's degree credits approved

Certifications / Licenses

Driver's License is required

Other Qualifications

  • Positive attitude
  • Ability to handle claims during visits or over the phone 
  • Willing to work under pressure
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Outlook
