Financial Analyst
General Description
Obtain and analyze financial data. Prepare projections and financial models. Summarize and report findings. Execute administrative tasks related to a credit portfolio. Assist in the preparation of credit approval memos.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Develop integrated financial statement analyses using our spreading system. Responsible to obtain, enter, review and analyze data to be used in our underwriting process. Effective identifying, understanding and explaining relevant fluctuations and trends.
• Effective preparing projections and forecasts. Agile modeling financial scenarios (base case/ stressed case). Articulated and efficient preparing reports, and presentations related to financial and/or industry matters.
• Analyze periodically client’s financial info and monitor compliance with loan covenants.
• Research and summarize macroeconomic and industry information and trends. Identify key data to be used in underwritings and industry analyses. Assess possible impact of this information in clients.
• Maintain updated databases in a reliable and efficient fashion.
• Maintain credits file complete and in compliance.
• Efficient and reliable coordinating and monitoring with Commercial Credit Operational Support Unit. Assist in all administrative and regulatory aspects of the credit portfolio.
• Expected to bring suggestions that can improve our structuring alternatives to new credits and provide insightful inputs to possible structures.

Education
Experience
At least two years of experience in credit and financial analytics.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA's)
• Excellent analytical skills. Effective identifying fluctuations and situations. Deep knowledge of financial analysis tools (excel, etc.), and analytical approaches (horizontal analysis, ratio analysis, etc.).
• Excellent research and reporting skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, both in English and Spanish.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and strong teamwork spirit.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent organizational skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• MS Office domain: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
