General Description

We are looking for a Fraud Prevention Analyst that will be reporting to the Fraud Risk and Project Administration Unit. This unit is accountable for the management of fraud risk assessment, incident and its resolution, create remediation action plans and facilitation and gathering of business/functional requirements and support of fraud systems, services and applications that help drive business decisions and outcomes within the organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments of threats and vulnerabilities analysis, new products evaluations, and Fraud operations oversight.
  • Based on the assesses of vulnerabilities and severity develops and/or recommends appropriate mitigation countermeasures in operational and non-operational situations.
  • Has responsibility for incident management processes and is required to perform investigations and develop remediation plans for all the issues detected, including the proper reporting of areas in scope.
  • Support strategic initiatives and drive the standardization of process documentation.
  • Identify and implement solutions and processes to increase efficiency and overall productivity within as assigned area of responsibility.

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This Job has no supervisory responsibilities but in special circumstances may lead the work of others.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineer, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience

At least two (2) years of experience in process improvement, research, root cause analysis and/or data management, process efficiencies, or related fields.

Other Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge on process efficiency tools and methodologies such as design thinking, lean, agile, six sigma, customer journey mapping, and analytics is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork.
  • Analytical and critical thinking capacity is a must, with emphasis on attention to detail.
  • Proven capacity to learn quickly and adapt to changes.
  • Comfortable dealing with large, complex, sensitive, and confidential data.
  • Demonstrate proactivity to find and define problems, understand business impact, identify solutions, and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Must possess the ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and be responsible.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Power BI, Power Query).
  • Proficiency in written and oral English/Spanish language.
