General Description

The Retail Digital Channels leader will help drive the strategy for the Consumer Digital Channels team (Mi Banco, ATM, branch and call center). This role will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on mitigating risk, driving scale,  and optimizing client and stakeholder experiences. The  Manager must have a passion for building digital products and experiences that scale, monetizing services and the ability to manage complex regulatory work with a track record for driving change.


This role will be responsible for articulating the vision for the team and leading strategic initiatives that enhance our platforms. The Senior Manager will also work with a wide range of stakeholders to drive cohesive experiences across our Channels, drive new business opportunities and innovate.  Holding the ultimate accountability for the product definition that best meets the needs of the business and customers expectations. Needs to maintain a steady release plan for the product. 

 

Facilitate that teams have appropriate product and technical knowledge, guidance, and resources to deliver solutions effectively to ensure that missions remain on target to meet all stages and timelines. Serve as an accessible advisor for the team. Guide them and continue to improve their performance and professional skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Define/Manage product vision, roadmap and strategy

  • Market and ideas research

  • Collaborate with other technology teams to ensure integrated end-to-end design and integration.

  • Work within and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions across development tools and technologies.

  • Budget Management

  • Work closely with the User Experience team to deliver valuable, user-friendly experiences

  • Coach and lead direct and cross-functional teams through complex end-to-end management of digital channel’s roadmap, from ideation, business case development, design, implementation, ongoing operations to continuous improvement. Fully accountable for: (1) successful launch of digital journeys into market, (2) delivery on a range of initiatives across platforms and (3) support the business and customers with implementation / change management.

  • Create effective partnerships to build consensus and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Develop, pitch and gain leadership buy-in for recommendations of digital strategy across all retail channels. Collaborate closely with businesses and functions to set clear channel priorities and drive implementation / operationalization.

  • Define and track measurable metrics to inform the success. Uncover, share insights and communicate with stakeholders on an on-going basis to review necessary changes in strategy and tactics.

  • Ensure all digital channels adhere to regulatory and compliance requirements. Manage risk through proactive monitoring and implementation while ensuring seamless customer experiences

Minimum Education

Bachelor's or Graduate's Degree in business, operations management, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Experience

  • +10 years of leadership experience in Product Management, Digital, or Agile Transformation
  • Able to create a high-level vision and strategy
  • Strong analytical skills: ability to synthesize complex data, identify opportunities, evaluate competing priorities, and develop a strategic plan that delivers on our product vision and goals
  • Able to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally. Experience managing multiple priorities and overseeing distinct teams with varied strengths. Proven ability to navigate complex and nuanced interpersonal issues, understand and balance priorities of different stakeholders, and build trust among business partners. Strong emotional intelligence/maturity and executive presence. Thrives on initiating, building, and cultivating strong authentic relationships inside and outside the group.
  • Experience driving transformation, change and process improvement through people, process, and technology
  • Excellent team player with the ability to influence and negotiate.
  • Experience with Agile & SAFe (or other scaling frameworks)
  • Understands digital design and transformation processes that will give customers an end-to-end, and best-in-class digital experience without compromising on controls and safeguarding both the customer the bank from financial losses. Ability to translate the benefits that the use of technology can bring to the business.
  • A great team leader that motivates and inspires others (direct teams and stakeholders) to excel.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish
