Insurance Producer
General Description
Manage sales-based marketing strategies such as prospecting, networking, and more to identify and secure potential clients. Secure affluent clients receive comprehensive risk management solutions, endorsed by Subjet Matter Experts in all Popular Risk Services specialized practices. Maintain excellent relationship with internal employees and other producers to assure service within quality service standards. Assure that service to his/her clients is performed in compliance with local, state and federal laws and regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for meeting new, existing, and prospective policyholders to assess their financial position and propose plan options.

Develop commercial clients about their insurance options, based on benefits and limitations of each policy.

Ensure all clients complete required forms, inform clients on insurance policy requirements, and facilitate the claims process.

Host special events created exclusively for Popular employees, individual, commercial and corporate clients. Also participates in special activities representing Popular Risk Services.

Prepares and delivers insurance proposals to potential and existing clients.

Informs of any sales/services efforts and client’s complaints.

Assures that service to his/her clients is performed in compliance with local, state and federal laws and regulations.

Strict compliance with service standards, sales practices procedures and Popular corporate rules.

Expand the existing insurance programs with our clients; develop and manage client relationships to increase penetration sales and cultivate new business opportunities.

Maintains a thorough understanding and knowledge of available Popular resources and solutions, and match those to client business requirements.

Be able to manage sales objectives.
Education / Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, preferable. At least, three years of related experience. Experience in sales and process management is preferred.
Certifications / Licenses
Life and/or Disability and/or Property & Casualty License. Industry Certifications preferred.

- Excellent presentation skills in Spanish and English explaining numerical data.

- Ability to work with multiple tasks simultaneously and under pressure.
- Serve as a mentor to facilitate interactions, provide direction, knowledge transfer and development among team members.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to organize and administer time effectively
- Ability to develop financial reports and recommendations.
- Intermediate/advance proficiency in MS Office applications: Word, Excel, Power Point, and Access.
