General Description

Creates content and design for email marketing campaigns to engage target audiences and support business objectives. Highly creative with advanced writing skills in English and Spanish. Coordinates and analyzes email marketing campaigns.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Creates emails content, selects template and generates mock-ups to engage and deliver message to different audiences.
  • Ensures all content is on-brand and consistent in terms of style, tone of voice and quality.
  • Establishes email strategy along with respective units of Popular —  Business Lines and Customer Knowledge department — to  support Marketing strategies and plans.
  • Coordinates email campaign along with content marketing, agency, Customer Knowledge and Digital Strategy group.
  • Requests live samples approval and signs off emails’ campaigns
  • Provides results and insights
  • Works well under pressure

Minimum Education

Bachelor's (B.A.) or Master’s degree (M.A.) in Communication, Journalism, Public Relations or Marketing from a four-year college or university

Experience

One to two years of related experience producing content for emails, digital media, or blogs.

Other Qualifications

Excellent Communication Skills:

Written Cmmunication: (English and Spanish) Advanced writing skills, with exceptional spelling and grammar.

Oral Cmmunication: (English and Spanish) Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations.

 

Project Management Skills:

Capable of working with multiple requests simultaneously, assuring always a hig quality product.

Able to work under tight deadlines and large volume

 

Creative skills:

Writing and translation; content and marketing strategy; brand development; digital media knowledge.

 

Computer Skills:

Knowledge of one or more of the following softwares: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Internet, and other related software.

 

Marketing/Product Management:

Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics.  Knowledge of internal and competitorscompetitors’ products and services to provide the quality in service advise.

 

Project Management:

Knowledge of project coordination, identification of business needs, work plan, time management, and status reports. Must demonstrate leadership, logic, and reasoning skills.
