General Description

Plans, develops, and implements marketing and media efforts for overall Popular’s product & services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze data to provide timely actionable insights before, during and after marketing strategy; plans and efforts considering competitive landscape, market, customer data and trends.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans to contribute to business objectives, while capitalizing on customer analytics. Align products and services with customer’s preferences.  
  • Deliver results in compliance with business goals while being effective and efficient analyzing efforts outcome and optimizing campaigns.
  • Develop monthly or as per needed reports, dashboards and presentations to monitor and optimize efforts. Assure data integrity and quality.
  • Effective budget management while looking for efficiencies.
  • Proactively connect, communicate, and involve relevant parties (Business Units and Support Units) in the development, implementation, and results of initiatives.
  • Constantly seek new media opportunities that are in alignment to corporate strategy and Businesses Objectives. The objective is to be in the lookout for new opportunities and trends that could be relevant and could add value to the marketing plans.

Minimum Education

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing.

Experience

Two (2) years of marketing experience, preferably within the financial services or banking industry.

Certifications / Licenses

No certifications or license needed.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA’s)

  • Demonstrated experience in the execution of marketing strategies
  • Polished in preparing executive summary and presentations in English
  • Communication skills: effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to foster trusting relationships with colleagues and clients. 
  • Highly develop written and verbal communications skills in English and Spanish.
  • Analytical skills: Strong quantitative, research and analytical skills.  Must be able to identify situations, look for alternatives and make appropriate decisions.
  • Project Management: Ability to work with multiple projects and tasks with minimum supervision.  Capacity to achieve results according to plan ensuring the expected quality. Excellent organization capacity to define priorities, meet deadlines, and flexible to change.  Knowledge on project coordination, identification of business needs, work plan, budget control, time management, resource allocation, team management and status reports.  Must demonstrate leadership, logic, and reasoning skills.
  • Computer and technological skills: proficient in MS Office 365 Suite (PowerPoint and Excel).
