Operations Analyst (Seasonal) | ACH Operations

General Description
Receive, review, and process transaction return requests, ensuring the accurate retrieval and timely delivery of supporting documentation and information to requesting agencies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Process claims received through the PCAS system.
• Analyze and resolve cases, including customer correspondence when required.
• Perform ACH account maintenance through the PEP+ system.
• Process ACH stop payments using automated and manual procedures.
• Generate Electronic Suspense Accounting transactions in the PCAS system.
• Contact customers to clarify reclamation cases as needed.
• Respond to inquiries from branches and internal departments.
• Prepare and process accounting entries.
• Provide backup support for team members, including handling ACH Customer Deceased Claims and other assigned duties.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Assist in the monitoring analysis of transactions to assure compliance with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), USA Patriot Act, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Currency Transaction Reporting (CTR), Suspicious Activity Reporting (SAR), OFAC, among other regulations.
Education
60 credits approved or equivalent combination of education and related experience
Note: Related experience refers to the professional background related to the responsibilities and skills required for the position.
Experience
Two years’ previous retail banking or banking operations experience.
Customer service experience.

Work Schedule
Hybrid work schedule
Monday to Friday- 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Flexibility to work non-business hours, holidays, and weekend when needed.

Additional Requirements
• Effective oral and written communication skills in Spanish (advanced level) and English (intermediate level)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, including Excel, Word, Teams and Outlook
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex situations, identify appropriate solutions, and exercise sound judgment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks in accordance with established instructions, procedures, and standard business practices.
• High level of accountability, flexibility, and adaptability to change.
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
