Popular has an established Semester Internship Program for top-rated college students.  Selected candidates will have a hands-on experience in one of our business units.

Programs

Explore Popular Career Preview Summer Experience (June 2024)
This program is a 2-week experience for curious college students interested in learning more about the banking industry and Banco Popular.
- Students must have completed their High School Diploma and/or their first year of Bachelor's Degree
- GPA of 3.00+ (preferred)
- For students interested in pursuing a career in the Financial Industry 
- *This program is not a paid internship 

Explore Popular Summer Internship (June-July 2024): 
An 8-week paid internship (Full-Time) that provides hands on career training for excelling college  students based on their academic background and professional interest.
- Students must have completed their second year of Bachelor's Degree (sophomore)
- GPA of 3.00+ (preferred)
- Candidate must be authorized to work in US and its territories 
- Master's and Doctorate students are eligible for this program

Leaders Emerging at Popular (LEAP) - (June-July 2024)

An 8-week paid internship (Full-Time) that provides a project-based work experience to junior and senior college students during summer.
- Students must have completed at least their third year of Bachelor's Degree. 
- GPA of 3.00+ (preferred)
- Candidate must be authorized to work in US and its territories
