General Description

Lead the Data Science Development Program, Coaching our Data Science Associates and, Modeling complex business problems to create innovative solutions.
 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Lead the program Life Cycle:

  • Define the program and projects and obtaining agreement from stakeholders.
  • Define program scope and developing the program, and all activities that occur within the program.
  • Perform work necessary to achieve the program’s objectives and deliver the program’s benefits.
  • Monitor progress, updating program plans as required, managing change and risk
  • Finalize all program activities, including all constituent projects, participants transition plan and reporting of results.
  • Lead the definition, realization, and sustaining the benefits provided by Programs. 
  • Manage the annual budget to support development plan, as well as the associated spending forecast on a monthly basis.
  • Manage end to end Procurement process to ensure Master Service Agreements and Statements of Work are appropriately sign-off, maintained, tracked and invoices are paid on time.
  • Research and capturing of stakeholder needs and expectations, gaining and maintaining stakeholder support, and mitigating/channeling feedback.  
  • Establish processes and procedures for maintaining proactive program management oversight and decision-making support throughout the entire program life cycle.
  • Maintain detailed audit proof performance dashboards and reporting on the talent programs and participants results.

 

Individualized Coaching:

  • As a trainee coach, provide individual support to participants development and performance during the application of the concepts in real business scenario.  
  • Foster a continuous learning environment among current and former trainees.  

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Minimum Education

Master's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics or Statistics.

Experience

Five (5) years in Data Science and Analytics.  Experience with statistical modeling and data analysis techniques, platforms, and software (e.g. R, Python, SPSS).
