Bank Consultant 1 (Metro Area)

General Description
A Bank Consultant sells products and services such as bank accounts (checking and savings), certificates of deposits, credit cards, loans, lines of credit, PREMIA (reward program), account services, claims, ATM services, among others. This role will analyze and identify the financial needs of customers to provide them with an excellent service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Meet the sales and services goal for the period.
• Identify and analyze customer needs to identify what products or services we could offer/sell.
• Know our products and services to support and assist our customers in their needs or claims.
• Participate in campaigns and special promotional activities in branches and other locations.
• Follow standard operating procedures and comply with quality service standards.
• Support in other roles, as needed in the branch.
• Complete transactions/documents according to all banking regulations, including BSA/AML, and other corporate guidelines or procedures.
Minimum Education
60 Bachelor's degree credits approved from a University or accredited institution or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience
At least three (3) years of sales and customer service related experience.
Other Qualifications
• Basic written and verbal communication skills in English and advanced in Spanish.
• Focused on achieving results through collaboration and teamwork.
• Ability to adapt to changes.
• Computer skills including knowledge of Windows Microsoft Office applications.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities.
• Ability to set priorities, simultaneously handle multiple tasks and meet established deadlines.
• Skills to persuade and negotiate.
• Master objection handling sales skills.
