Business Systems Liaison | Talent Acquisition Operations
General Description
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Business Systems Liaison to join our dynamic team in the banking and financial services sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support for SuccessFactors Talent Acquisition module, conducting system testing and participating in special projects focused on standardizing talent acquisition operations across multiple geographical locations. This role will be pivotal in streamlining process, ensuring system functionality, and driving improvements in talent acquisition operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
SuccessFactors Support:
- Administers SuccessFactors Talent Acquisition modules.
- Proactively works on system enhancements, staying up to date with legislative changes.
- Reviews notifications, offers, contracts, and any other communication to candidates through SSFF.
- Opens tickets in the Jira system to address corrections and errors related to SuccessFactors and the Popular career site.
- Participates in and sometimes leads assigned projects related to various aspects of the talent acquisition process in SuccessFactors, such as Approval of Personnel Requisition, Job Posting, Job Application, Job Offer, and Onboarding.
- Translates business requirements into technical specifications to guide the IT department in developing solutions.
- Customizes or updates existing software or applications to better align with organizational requirements.
Testing:
- Thoroughly test various scenarios and iterations using all available channels until satisfactory results are achieved.
- Maintain detailed testing documentation that tracks and records the evaluations conducted.
- Conduct a post-implementation review to ensure the solution is bug-free and effective, gathering feedback for future improvements.
Special Projects:
- Oversee the standardization of talent acquisition operations, ensuring alignment across all regions with best practices.
- Prepare monthly reports on IT Ticket progress.
- Assists in compliance and regulatory audit procedures.
- Contributes to defining the scope of IT projects, including objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Prepares presentations and documents summarizing business analyses for the management team.
- Maintains detailed project documentation, which is critical for project tracking and post-project evaluation.
- Collects internal and external statistical data to provide information and recommendations to:
- Management regarding testing and validation results and improvement strategies.
- Prevent situations that may negatively impact the department’s performance or compliance requirements.
- Identify trends, patterns, or fluctuations, and recommend future actions for the unit.
- Possesses a deep understanding of the technical aspects of the projects and provides guidance to the project team, particularly focusing on SuccessFactors (SSFF).
Others:
- Collaborates with various departments and stakeholders, extending beyond the IT department.
- Identifies business problems or opportunities and devises solutions for complex technical issues, challenges, or process improvements.
- Works in conjunction with IT teams to design and develop comprehensive technology solutions that align with business objectives, including selecting suitable technologies, platforms, and software.
- Provides training and support to end-users to ensure effective utilization of the technology solutions.
Education
Bachelor’s and/or advance degree with a concentration in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
Experience
At least three to five years’ related experience in business analysis or project coordination.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced), Word, PowerPoint and Power BI.
Other Qualifications
- Experience with data analysis, data integration and data validation activities with different projects.
- Experience developing written summaries and analysis of technical testing and validation activities.
- Ability to communicate and work with information technology.
- Ability to gather and manipulate substantial amounts of data from different sources and forms.
- Strong analytical, attention to detail, and organizational skills
- Excellent organization skills, able to establish priorities, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Ability to operate at all levels of management, with excellent verbal, written and presentation skills (in both English and Spanish).
- Identify solutions for reported incidents or system enhancements
