Digital Marketing Officer | Seasonal
General Description
Designs, develops and implements tactical marketing campaigns and efforts mainly in digital platforms to support corporate and business growth objectives. Defines marketing strategy based on value proposition, segment profiles and channels. Supports the planning, implementation and monitoring activities of various channels and platforms. Applies agile project management methodology, to organize and manage tasks. Collaborates with other departments and external partners to ensure the consistency and effectiveness of our brand identity and message, while complying with related procedures and regulations. We welcome applicants with experience in email strategy, agile methodologies, and for those eager to learn and grow in digital marketing. Familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Platforms is a plus but not required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Executes specific marketing strategies & plans to position products and services based on customer analytics and segments. Analyzes data and insights to develop campaign or efforts considering customer data, segments, competitive landscape, market and trends.
- Develops and implements communication strategy to launch targeted campaigns or efforts in different channels, including email strategy, along with corresponding units of Popular — Business Units, Compliance, Marketing Analytics, among others.
- Coordinates content creation according to each channel (mainly email marketing) that engage with different audiences and segments. Develops content matrix in Excel to feed email content automatically or generate email mockups. Proofreading and ensure high quality of content.
- Ensures compliance of all operational and regulatory processes. Aligns offers and content with Marketing internal units, Business Units and Compliance.
- Coordinates with advertising / digital agencies, including multiple support channels activation (i.e., direct mail, digital campaign, telemarketing, among others).
- Delivers results in alignment with business goals, while being effective and efficient identifying opportunities and monitoring efforts outcome to optimize campaigns.
- Applies agile project management techniques to ensure efficient execution and team collaboration.
- Prepares and presents executive presentations and business reports on marketing results and recommendations. Assures data integrity and quality.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This job has no supervisory responsibilities but in special circumstances may lead the work of others.
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Communications.
A minimum of three (3) years of experience in marketing, preferably within the financial services or banking industry. Experience in project management.
Experience with Salesforce Marketing Platforms or similar tools is a plus, but not required.
Other Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in the execution of marketing strategies.
- Strong communication skills oral and written (English and Spanish).
- Strong understanding of digital media metrics, analytics, and tools to measure the effectiveness of media campaigns and optimize media investments.
- Ability to create clear and compelling visual representations of data to communicate insights and findings effectively.
- Ability to initiate, execute and deliver overlapping projects with a degree of independence.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, work under pressure with tight deadlines (excellent time management and prioritization skills)
- Ability to identify problems, analyze their causes and resolve them in a timely and successful manner to reduce time and facilitate work processes in your unit (strong project management skills).
- Effective budget management skills.
- Knowledge of one or more of the following software’s: Excel, Power Point, Salesforce Marketing Platforms, data-management platforms, and other related cloud-based software.
- Knowledge of policies and regulations. Ability to establish, conduct and track operational processes properly, and implement changes.
