General Description:
Support the People Analytics strategy through advanced analytics and data science expertise. Responsible for transforming workforce data into predictive and prescriptive insights that support strategic HR decisions. Support in the design and implementation of a datalake in collaboration with IT.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Other duties may be assigned)
- Demonstrate innovative approaches to leveraging existing and emerging workforce, talent, engagement, compensation, recruiting, learning, and organizational data sources to generate actionable insights that support strategic workforce and business decisions. Address complex analytical questions requiring advanced data transformations, custom queries, statistical analyses, predictive modeling, machine learning techniques, and other advanced methodologies beyond the capabilities of standard self-service reporting tools.
- Develop and maintain analytical scripts, data pipelines, and reusable solutions to extract, transform, and integrate large and complex datasets from multiple systems, enabling the identification of trends, patterns, risks, and opportunities across the employee lifecycle. Design, develop, validate, and maintain predictive and prescriptive models that support strategic initiatives such as workforce planning, turnover risk, internal mobility, hiring effectiveness, retirement readiness, employee engagement, organizational effectiveness, and other workforce-related priorities.
- Translate complex analytical findings into meaningful business insights, recommendations, and actionable strategies for Human Resources leadership, business leaders, and other stakeholders. Communicate sophisticated statistical and analytical concepts in a clear and concise manner, ensuring alignment between analytical findings and business outcomes.
- Transform raw workforce data into reliable metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs), and analytical products that support decision-making throughout the organization. Develop and maintain interactive dashboards, scorecards, and reporting solutions from end to end, including requirements gathering, KPI definition, data acquisition, data modeling, visualization design, deployment, maintenance, and continuous improvement.
- Present analyses, dashboards, predictive models, and key findings to senior leadership and stakeholders, providing guidance on interpretation, assumptions, limitations, and recommended actions. Serve as a trusted advisor by helping leaders understand workforce trends, drivers, risks, and opportunities.
- Partner closely with subject matter experts across the Our People Division to understand business challenges, identify analytical opportunities, and deliver data-driven solutions. Collaborate extensively with other Business Analysts within the
- People Analytics to align methodologies, share expertise, and ensure consistency across projects and initiatives.
- Perform rigorous quality assurance, validation, and governance activities across datasets, reports, dashboards, and predictive models to ensure accuracy, consistency, reliability, and compliance with organizational standards and data governance requirements. Work with subject matter experts to validate assumptions, methodologies, and findings.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in field related to Statistics, Data Analytics, Programming, Information Systems, Data Science or Computer Science. At least 2 years of progressive experience working with disparate data sources and generating new insight. Experience with relational databases and programming languages (e.g. SQL, SAS, R, Python).
Preferred Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in predictive analytics, machine learning, or data science.
- Advanced Python and/or R.
- SQL proficiency.
- Experience working with large-scale datasets and distributed computing frameworks such as PySpark.
- Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Data Platform, or similar cloud environments
- Experience deploying predictive models in production environments.
- Experience working with HR, Workforce, Employee Experience, Talent Acquisition, or organizational data preferred.
