General Description
The Senior Digital Marketing Project Coordinator leads marketing projects that improve customer engagement and operational efficiency. This role works with internal teams and / or vendors to develop and launch automated customer journeys and email programs through the Customer Data Platform (CDP).
The ideal candidate brings strong project management, digital marketing, and data analysis skills with experience in marketing automation tools such as Salesforce.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinate the design, mapping, segmentation, and optimization of automated customer journeys and email campaigns.
- Apply project management practices (e.g. Agile) to define requirements, establish acceptance criteria, manage risks, and support successful delivery. Build alignment on project scope, roles, deadlines, and deliverables while maintaining documentation and communicating progress clearly.
- Prepare presentations, project updates, and performance reports for senior leadership and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal partners, including Marketing Analytics, Data & Analytics, Customer Engagement & Personalization, Compliance, and other business teams.
- Launch, monitor, and improve email programs and audiences strategies using CDP capabilities.
- Ensure high standards for campaign quality, process consistency, and execution excellence.
- Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, and procedures to deliver initiatives effectively and manage vendor relationships.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional activities to keep projects on schedule, within budget, and aligned with business goals.
- Follow vendor management policies and procedures, including contract risk reviews and invoice coordination.
- Protect confidential customer information and ensure compliance with applicable policies, controls, and regulatory requirements.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Experience
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in digital marketing, email marketing, marketing automation, data analysis, and project coordination or project management.
Certifications / Licenses
Agile, PMP, or related project management certifications are preferred but not required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSA's)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and shift effectively between strategic and tactical activities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with digital marketing, analytics, and data management tools such as Excel, Power BI, Google Analytics, Salesforce, HTML, and related cloud-based platforms.
- Strong project management capabilities, including planning, prioritization, stakeholder coordination, risk management, and delivery in fast-paced environments.
- Ability to analyze campaign performance and present clear, actionable insights.
- Working knowledge of digital marketing principles, customer engagement strategies, campaign measurement, and product or service promotion.
