General Description

Perform assessment and accreditation efforts before releasing new systems to production. This role is highly cross-functional and requires working within Information Security, with IT division and other divisions across the company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in defining and establishing accreditation and validation strategies from an engineering perspective.
• Responsible for gathering, maintaining security artifacts to develop Body of Evidence IOT demonstrate compliance IAW laws, regulations and Popular’s security standards.
• Assist in defining, tuning, executing, and reporting on test scripts to validate the effectiveness of security solutions.
• Assist in designing, executing, and reporting on test scripts to validate IT business solutions' effectiveness of security aspects.
• Solution and design security accreditation and validation strategy from an engineering perspective.
• Collaborate with Security Architecture and engineering to break down high level roadmap into manageable processes and solutions.
• Test and validate solutions for enterprise security technology.
• Partner with other departments to enable the integration and implementation of security technology solutions.
• Executing the build of security technologies and manage deployment & implementation pipelines.
• Critically evaluate and build an integration to 3rd party vendors in this domain to deliver on our overall mission.

Education

Experience

Two (2) years of experience in security aspects of software engineering.

CGEIT, GSEC, CASP+, CEH, Security+, CompTIA Cloud+, CCSP

AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associates, or Professional

AWS Certified Practitioner, AWS Certified Security Specialist

• Operational/Regulations Processes: Knowledge on budget administration, resources allocation, organization’s policies, and regulations. Ability to establish, conduct and track operational processes properly.
• Computer and Technological Skills: Proficient in MS Office 365. Experience with data management tools such as Power Pivot, Power BI, among others is desired. Ability to achieve results by providing innovative ways of working with operational and technological considerations. Knowledge of computer flow charts and programming logic and codes.
