Senior Business Analyst 1

General Description

The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for collaborating with stakeholders and SME’s (e.g. Regions, ITO, Digital, Transformation, Retail, Commercial) in the definition, development, and implementation of digital solutions and tools (Salesforce and DocuSign) across the commercial credit segments, lead the efforts for process improvements for commercial clients, prospects and bankers, from start to finish. Additionally, the role will serve as liaison and have an active participation in the creation of some reports, dashboards and other visualizations in Salesforce and Power BI. This role is responsible for managing the digital commercial credit origination platform (customer facing) and its internal workflows. This role will directly interact with Division Managers, segment managers and other leaders

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

•    Gather business requirements by interviewing stakeholders, observing and mapping business processes, reviewing existing documentation, and writing user stories/features. 
•    Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in relevant tech solutions and tools including, but not limited to Salesforce and DocuSign.
•    Serve as direct liaison between the business lines, Credit, ITO and Business Banking as it relates to the development of new workflows, processes and procedures.  
•    Lead efforts to document and prioritize requirements (backlog) to ensure they meet the business's and stakeholders' needs.
•    Lead agile ceremonies and active participate as the business SME on the full development cycle on Salesforce. 
•    Active participate and lead QA and UAT efforts for various digital applications. 
•    Design, coordinate and complete change management related efforts. 
•    Responsible for leading and coordinating efforts related to the day-to-day business support of the commercial modules within Salesforce and DocuSign. 
•    Design manuals, SOP’s and provide training to users regarding new processes, developments and/or applications updates.
•    Assist and actively participate in developing strategies to increase “assisted digital sales” (OKR)
•    Write content in Spanish and English for proposals, presentations, letters, emails, and documentation of internal and external channels, weekly documentation and carrying out the process of reviews and approvals between the respective units.
•    Support in the design and construction of dashboards and reports using Power BI and Salesforce that effectively communicate key performance indicators and trends.
•    Provide ongoing support and training to end-users on Salesforce, Power BI functionality, best practices, and data visualization techniques.
 

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, preferred.

Experience

  • At least five (5) years of related experience, preferably in the banking industry, Salesforce, Power BI or commercial credit.
  • Experience managing projects.
     

Other Qualifications

•    Knowledge of commercial products and services.
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish. 
•    Ability to review and write communications understanding and anticipating the needs of the commercial clients.
•    Proficiency in MS Office 365 including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. 
•    Ability to design and implement complex spreadsheets, analyze data, and provide insights that drive business decisions. 
•    Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills. 
•    Ability to lead and facilitate projects from start to finish.
•    Ability to establish assertive and agile communication between teams to achieve the implementation of projects. 
•    Initiative and judgment to find solutions and make decisions. 
•    Capable of working under pressure and complying with deadlines. 
•    Ability to work with multiple tasks simultaneously and attention to detail. 
•    Ability to work on a team and with little supervision
