General Description

The HR Officer will be part of the Labor Consulting Center of Expertise.  The Officer will service the different business units and will providing expert knowledge in the field Labor Laws, Affirmative Action, Diversity and Inclusion and disciplinary processes among other related subjects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Partner with business leadership to address labor issues and proactively identify solution that will benefit the business, employees and contribute to strengthening the business priorities.

Executes Our People corporate initiatives translating these goals to the business level and collaborating with HR colleagues

Analyze employee data to identify trends that may have an impact on employee performance and provide insight and action plans to business leaders

Collaborate with the business in creating a high-performance culture addressing the non-performing issues proactively.

Work with the business in creating a divers and inclusive culture, embracing and respecting differences and providing equal employment opportunities.

Develop engagement action plans to maintain/build employee morale, drive diversity and inclusion initiatives and a spirit of collaboration among different units

Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues according to HR policy and labor laws.



Master’s in business administration/ Labor Relation/ Human Resource or related fields


Five to seven years of experience in Labor Consulting demonstrating strong consulting, influencing and negotiation skills. 

Other Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written in English and Spanish
  • Ability to travel within PR and US
  • Advance proficiency in MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, Power Point and Access
  • Ability to relate to, influence, and coach employees at all levels within the organization
  • Demonstrated success working collaboratively and developing strong, positive working relationships and credibility with clients and colleagues
  • Analytical, quantitative and technical skills used to leverage data to create HR strategies
  • Strong business acumen
  • Proven capability of working in a demanding, deadline driven environment
