General Description

Want to help us design the next step in the most used Online and Mobile banking app in Puerto Rico? We’re looking for a UX/UI Designer with a passion for design, an eye for detail and a clean aesthetic style. The ideal candidate is willing to make design decisions driven by data while retaining our vision and design. The candidate will be able to marry user needs and effective design, consisting of creating visually engaging, innovative and functional mobile and web products.

Our designers are part of the team who manages the process from beginning to end, from wire-framing, listening labs, interactive prototyping and final designs

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the development team to help build prototypes and working products
  • Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate your designs
  • Work collaboratively with other designers to ensure a consistent, integrated brand perception and user experience
  • Develop and design graphical elements, style guides and data visualization
  • Knowledgeable at available technology, user interactions, current industry trends, and design best practices
  • Effectively communicate design choices and direction to multiple stakeholders by incorporating and articulating design principles which balance the customers' needs

Education

Bachellor's or Master's Degree in UX / Visual Design related discipline.

Experience

  •  6+ years design experience, preferably for a highly trafficked consumer facing digital product
  • Portfolio showcasing user experience and visual design work
  • Deep understanding of visual design standards, typography, iconography, and colors
  • Experience with the current version of Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator and XD
  • Experience with Figma and/or Sketch

Additional Qualifications

  • Experience designing for mobile products and features
  • Knowledge in Android Studio and xCode
  • Experience working with JavaScript, CSS, HTML
  • Experience with web development applications
