General Description
We are looking for a Sr Business Systems Analyst under Enterprise Architecture Strategy & Governance to support the development and quality of technology governance documentation across Enterprise Architecture, Information Technology, and Information Security. This role works with subject matter experts to develop standards, guidelines, procedures, and related governance documents that are clear, consistent, actionable, and ready for audit review. The position requires strong analytical and writing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to evaluate documentation for completeness, traceability, control clarity, and effective implementation in both Spanish and English.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with subject matter experts across Enterprise Architecture, Information Technology, Information Security, Risk, and other relevant areas to develop and revise standards, guidelines, procedures, implementation requirements, and related governance documents.
- Translate technical, control, risk, and operational expectations into clear, concise, consistent, and actionable documentation.
- Review governance documents for completeness, consistency, traceability, control clarity, and readiness for formal review and approval.
- Identify and resolve ambiguous, conflicting, incomplete, or difficult-to-implement language that could create inconsistent execution, control gaps, or audit findings.
- Ensure responsibilities, control ownership, requirements, validation expectations, exceptions, evidence needs, and dependencies are clearly documented when applicable.
- Apply established templates and documentation quality criteria, incorporate reviewer feedback, and prepare final versions for the governance review and approval process.
- Analyze existing governance documentation to identify gaps, overlaps, outdated content, conflicting requirements, and improvement opportunities.
Education
Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, Technical Communication, English, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of combined experience in business analysis, technical writing, governance documentation, quality assurance, compliance, audit support, risk, controls, or a related function.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in Spanish and English.
- Strong analytical writing, editing, and documentation quality review skills.
- Experience developing or reviewing standards, guidelines, procedures, control documentation, implementation requirements, or similar governed content.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify ambiguity, inconsistency, duplication, and gaps across related documents.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with subject matter experts and challenge unclear or incomplete content constructively.Ability to manage multiple documentation assignments in a fast-paced and changing environment with minimal supervision.
- Experience in regulatory compliance, or audit is a plus.
