General Description
Responsible for accurately performing quality control to new accounts, completing account set up, and executing all related maintenances. This role ensures that all requests are completed in a timely manner and in compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Works closely with Client Service Associates, Financial Consultants, Principal Review Desk, and other units within and outside the firm.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Accurately process approved new account applications by entering all required information in the system. Verify completeness and accuracy of submitted documents and maintain proper records. Perform account maintenances. Provide exceptional customer service by responding to all customer service requests, calls, and emails in a timely manner. Actively listen to customer requests and inquiries. Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction.
Functions
• Account opening – Open new accounts in the NFS system by entering all data requirements
• Quality Control – Perform quality control of new accounts to ensure accuracy and consistency with the new account form.
• Managed Account Set up – Perform the managed account coding in the system as applicable.
• Legal Documents Processing – Ex. POA – Process and code legal documents in the system.
• Account Maintenances – Ex. phone, address, email, etc. – Complete all maintenances requested by customers in a timely manner and ensure the information is accurate.
• Set up Periodic Investment Plans and Custom Pay Outs – Set up automatic plans to buy and sell securities.
• Link bank accounts – Review all applicable paperwork and ensure are following firm policies and procedures before link bank accounts.
• Back up to operations personnel as needed.
Education
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience
Note: Related experience refers to the professional background related to the responsibilities and skills required for the position.
Experience
At least one (1) year of experience in customer service.
Other Qualifications
• Detail-oriented with analytical skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Ability to establish priorities and to work with multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work under pressure and with a sense of urgency, to work with a team and collaborate with others to accomplish common goals.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills towards customers and coworkers.
• Computer skills including knowledge of Windows Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point etc.).

Work Schedule
On-site
Monday to Friday- 8:30 am to 5:30 pm
Availability to work extended hours, holidays and weekends.
